A brief introduction of Soul contract reading for relationship
My personal quest for the answer to loving relationships
There are these two lines from highschool literature class that were stuck in my head for decades:
"There, people love, and make each other suffer" (Peanut season, Nguyen Khai).
"When one's leg hurts all they can think of is their hurting leg" (A life of misfits, Nam Cao).
Another line from a book on culture defining humans: Humans are social creatures (I see it as: each human is an integral part of the whole).
Intrigued by literature, or just naturally inclined, understanding and healing relationship has somehow always been my interest, the why's and how's.
From relationships with family members - those between parents and kids, brothers and sisters, filled with tension, abuse, guilt and etc., to not-working-out, head-on, miserable romantic entanglements, to challenging working relationships where opinions and work ethic differ vastly and projects go south despite ideals. So many just choose to isolate themselves from family members, run away from home, and/or stay single.
I always believe that we are all good humans (well, most of us). But why do relationships not work out? And why do we get attracted to someone in the first place?
The answers from my own journey of relating
Had some glimpses of the answer when I started vipassana meditation, there-on studying A course in miracles and holy relationship. I recognized that each person comes to our life for a reason, a cause of our highest good.
Another piece of the puzzle came from past life regression and family constellation. One inherits much of the energetic imprints and entanglements the moment of conception.
And the last important link was discovered when I do soul contract work. The pre-planned dynamic of at-traction and de-traction, karmic lock and clash.
It all boils down to the working of ego thought patterns, limiting beliefs, interferences, residual effects from multiple encounters and generations. Additional layers of threads in different colors envelop our core beingness. Icing and cream and patterns get plastered onto the cake. Soon enough, we don't know if the cake is butter base or chiffon. All we see is the icing.
The question is, how do we dis-entangle and uncover the true holy relationship that is meant to be among humans?
How do we know what kind of entanglement is happening and so can strategize the best approach towards our loved/ important ones?
I believe there are three aspects to the answer. One, to understand self (know thyself) and from there heal yourself first. Two, to understand the other person. Three, the dynamic of interaction on different levels, and the best way to go about the relationship, day to day or in long term.
